Archive for the Team News CategoryThe Medway Park Crusaders v University of Birmingham game scheduled for tonight (Saturday 5 December) has ben postponed. The rescheduled date will be announced soon. The Crusaders would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to our supporters. The team has been training for a couple of weeks although the foreign players will not arrive until early September. We’ve started putting in the offence, although only very limited parts of it. So far we’ve only done full court offence drills and the players have yet do scrimmage 5-on-5 – although we’ve done a few full court 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 drills.
A team of eight Crusaders made the trip, but only six healthy bodies returned as injuries hit standouts Robbie Parker and Simon Mitchell in the game against the Division 1 hosts on Sunday.

The Kent Crusaders Premier League Under 18’s team will hold open trials at Simon Langton Boys School on Saturday 28 June from 12.00 noon to 14.00pm. The trial is open to all players. There is a £3 fee to participate in the trials.
