Last Saturday the road to EBL National League division 2 survival began with a win at NEWI for the Kent Crusaders, which brought the Kent side two points clear of the relegation zone. The journey continues this Saturday with a fixture against the Plymouth Raiders, who has the same number of wins as the Crusaders. Kent, Plymouth and NEWI are all within one win of each other, and barring a late surge from bottom team Black Country, who has only two wins for the season, those three teams are battling it out for two spots to avoid relegation.

The Body and Mind Kent Crusaders will have plenty to do this Saturday if they are to come away with a win when Cardiff Celts visit Canterbury. Despite being newcomers to the league after promotion from EBL 3 last season, Cardiff have made a big impression in division 2 this year and hold an impressive record of 9 and 2.

The Body & Mind Kent Crusaders take on the Plymouth Marjon Cannons at home this coming weekend. The sides have met twice this tear, with the visitors the victims of an amazing Crusaders comeback back in October’s Patrons Cup, as a Steve Findley three pointer secured a last second win.

The Body and Mind Kent Crusaders take on University of Birmingham in National League Division 2 play this Saturday December 8 at 5.15 in Birmingham.

University of Birmingham won promotion to Division 2 this year, and have started league play with an impressive three wins in five games, only loosing to top two teams Cardiff Celts and Plymouth Raiders.

Kent Crusaders face Cardiff Celts this weekend in a league and Patrons Cup double header. On the Saturday the two teams play an important division two game, which head coach Mads Olesen has highlighted as the focus of the weekend. Cardiff are new to the league having been promoted from EBL3 South last season with a 12-4 record. Cardiff have started this season in tremendous form winning their opening three league games, so Crusaders will have to improve on their performance last weekend if they want to take anything from this game.
