The Medway Park Crusaders currently sits in second place in the league after beating the Birmingham A’s, 95-65 in Birmingham.

Crusaders must expect to lose their promotion spot shortly, though, as several teams have less losses than us, but haven’t played as many games. Things are stil looking good for coach Vear’s team, though, as they are right in the mix for the second promotion spot.

The Medway Park Crusaders couldn’t overcome the single best individual performance from an opponent in club history as Tees Valley Mohawks American import player Ralph Bucci led his team to a tough win with a 48 point showcase.

Crusaders will be hosting the Tees Valley Mohawks next weekend. While Crusaders have played six National League matches, Tees Valley has only played two, losing away to league leaders Bradford Dragons, 81-64, and crushing last-place team Sheffield Arrows 122-72

Crusaders will be taking the Mohawks very seriously, as they are another of the teams which can contend for the league title this year, as they have before.
