The Medway Park Crusaders honoured their first chairman Anthony ‘Wol’ Sait, 40, who sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago, at their Sunday home game against the Eastside Eagles. 30 of Sait’s friends and family attended the game and contributed to making the atmosphere very special. Before the game started a minute’s silence was observed and during the game a collection raised more than £250 towards installing a Samaritans phone by the Glebe Way rail crossing in Whitstable.
